ABOUT ME
I was born in the college town of Bloomington, Indiana, and grew up in the small town of Potsdam, New York. I left a successful legal career at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, to pursue the arts and received my MFA in Photography from Parsons School New School of Design in New York City in 2012. I I have exhibited work in New York City, including Chelsea galleries, and have been published in various media outlets.
Beyond my fine arts practice, I also work in documentary, commercial, real estate and editorial genres, and use both film and digital processes for my work. As a professional photographer I prioritize client needs and satisfaction, working collaboratively to achieve the results.
In addition to being a photographer, I am an art educator and am passionate about arts accessibility and the positive impact it can have on individuals and communities. I moved to Portland in late 2014, and continued my dedication to working on behalf of others as both an arts instructor and as the Program Manager for the Youth Arts for Change Program with the Clackamas County Arts Alliance from 2015-2023, where I managed, expanded and taught arts programs in a variety of media for vulnerable and under-served youth. I currently provide arts instruction and program coordination as the Artist in Residence at Parrott Creek Ranch, and teach photography at Portland Community College.
